Training Wheels is a child development center designed for children between the ages of 2.6 to 5 years. We are located just 5 minutes off the North Shore, in the recently expanded Manchester Youth Development Center. Children will acquire Pre-Reading, Pre-Math,
gross-motor, and social skills. In addition, we offer hands-on activities in Art, Music, Computers and a Spanish Curriculum.

Training Wheels is currently opened for operation. In effort to accommodate the working family, we offer extended hours Monday thru Friday opening at 7a.m. until 6 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided for all children. All children who attend must be potty trained.

Betty H. Robinson, Ph.D, founded this elite program in 1979. Dr. Robinson’s expertise in child development is the result of a long career within the city’s private and public education system. The Center is managed by certified teachers and has achieved academic licensing by the Department of Education. We offer affordable rates and are licensed by the PA Department of Public Welfare. Training Wheels will continue to provide quality service to each family. Children will develop properly in a child-centered environment that implements an innovative curriculum, using developmentally appropriate practices. This program is designed to enhance the total child.
